Peaks and Valleys: Behind Colorado’s Monarch Mountain
Tucked into the heart of the Rockies, Monarch Mountain is more than just a ski area—it’s a cornerstone of the local economy and a year-round hub for adventure, tourism, and community in Chaffee County.
Behind the fresh powder is a seasonal business that requires steady support, deep understanding, and a banking partner who shows up, no matter the weather.

At the Crossroads: Building Buena Vista’s Future with The Crossing
What does it take to build something that truly belongs to a community? One new neighborhood is giving Buena Vista locals a place to call home again.
When Paul Andrews saw how the housing crisis was pushing longtime residents out of the town they love, he decided to take action. It started with a vision: a neighborhood designed with intention, meant to keep the town’s character and connections strong.
Collegiate Peaks Bank is proud to support a project that’s redefining what community development can look like: thoughtful, lasting, and deeply human.

Stuff the Bus
Valley Bank ran a two part campaign prior to back-to-school season.
Part one: partnering with The Angle Fund, Valley Bank was gathering cash donations and matching every dollar to help local schools stock up on everything students need to succeed.
Part two: running a photo contest to celebrate all (past or present) first-day-of-school moments in their community. The prize? Three randomly chosen winners won a $200 gift card and a $200 donation to the nonprofit or school of their choice.
Goals
1. A charitable drive in partnership with local nonprofit The Angel Fund, aimed at collecting school supplies and supporting students in need. The community was invited to make cash donations, and Valley Bank matched every donation made, up to $5,000.
2. Encourage community interaction by increasing likes, comments, and shares on campaign posts.
